I’m looking to help people or small businesses prepare and file patents, both provisional and non-provisional for a very affordable flat fee. I am a registered patent agent, and graduate student, based in Houston who is looking to pick up some extra patent work. I went to a top university and studied molecular biology, and worked in the biotech sector for a number of years. This isn’t a paralegal service, and I don’t charge a high price for a poorly drafted patent application then disappear leaving you on your own.
Things I can help with include the above, filing provisional and non-provisional applications, as well as converting a provisional patent, responding to office actions in a previously filed patent, editing or advising on an inventor’s draft of a patent application, basic prior art searches, full prior art searches and preliminary opinions on patentability.
