Most cases settle by plea bargain if they aren’t dismissed, and few criminal cases ever get to trial.

Don’t pay thousands of dollars in legal fees, only to have your attorney spend a minimal amount of time on your case before he talks you into taking a plea bargain.

I will take your MISDEMEANOR case, including DUI’s, for a flat fee of $ 999*.

I’ll look carefully at your case to see if any of your constitutional rights were violated, and if they were, I will file a motion with the court, appear before the judge on your behalf, and argue for the suppression of the evidence against you and/or the dismissal of your case.

If the police have not violated your rights and your case continues, we will carefully evaluate the facts of your case and the law together and decide whether we want to accept a plea bargain, or whether we believe that the prosecution can’t prove their case against you beyond a reasonable doubt.

If we don’t believe the prosecution can convince a jury to convict you of the crime you’re charged with, we can decide to take your case to trial and shoot for an acquittal or a hung jury, so that you can walk away from the case without a criminal conviction on your record if the jury decides you’re not guilty, or if they can’t make up their mind as to your guilt.

If we DO end up going to trial, you will pay me NOTHING extra.

I have over twenty years of experience as a lawyer. I’ve tried six cases in front of a jury, winning three of them outright, and settling the fourth case, a civil case, just before we got to our final arguments in the case. The result was very satisfactory for my client, who got a large amount of money from the other side.

My first criminal defense jury trial lasted almost a week, and resulted in an acquittal (not guilty) verdict for my client, who was charged with severely beating a neighbor with a heavy flashlight and putting him in the hospital, allegedly because the neighbor was trying to steal his property. After the jury said he was not guilty, my client was very happy, as he had avoided what would have been almost certain jail time.

Every case is different, though, and I can’t guarantee I’ll win your case, or that it will turn out as well as many of my other cases have. However, I will guarantee you that I’ll fight hard for your rights.

I am charging such a low rate for misdemeanor cases, despite my many years experience as a lawyer, because I am adding the practice of criminal defense to my practice of handling divorce/family law cases, and I want to get more jury trial experience, so I can be a more effective attorney for my clients, so if we decide that going to trial is the best way for you to go, I will happily represent you at trial, and get the extra trial work I’m looking for.

Call me now for a free half-hour consultation. We’ll talk about your case, and you can decide if you want to meet with me in person to retain my services.

*It is important for me to point out that this flat fee offer covers my attorney fee only. If we have to hire any expert witnesses to help us win your case, you will be responsible for paying for those experts. However, I won’t hire any experts or incur any extra fees without discussing it with you and getting your permission to do so first. If you decide you don’t want to pay for experts, which might not be necessary at all anyway, we will proceed forward with your case without experts. It will be your call.
This special offer is only available for a limited time, and expires on August 1st, 2016.
